But the functionality of some organizations such as NATO depends on the orientation and motivation of the natural persons who are practitioners of the organization also. This reality is important in terms of giving an idea about the social support for an organization in the context of theories that focus on the effects of domestic variables on decision-makers, such as neoclassical realism or constructivism. In this context, this study is based on a questionary survey of the views of Turkish soldiers about NATO. The results are precious and unique to guide the decision-makers of both NATO and Türkiye because of restrictions on surveys on military personnel. The aim of this research is to understand how international organisations IOs shape the politico-sociological structure of the nation-states in the age of neoliberal globalisation. IOs have become the most dominant actors of the liberal international order in the postwar era.
